Strengths-based development

People grow fastest when they build on what they already do well, rather than spending most of their energy fixing gaps.

Most development plans start with weaknesses. Strengths-based development flips the starting point: name what each person naturally does well, then design roles, goals and habits around it.

I use CliftonStrengths® as a shared language for this work, with individual leaders and with whole teams. The aim is practical — better conversations, clearer roles and work that feels like it fits.
